As we plateau in our use of the internet, I ask, what do class hierarchies look like in this intangible space? Are those spaces true, or somewhere between?
When we think about access to these spaces, it tends to look like a trolley. If you can’t afford your tether, you can’t move through standard society, you can’t truly exist. If you are so affluent that you don’t have to access, someone will. Yet the aesthetics remain; there will always be the appeal to a higher taste.
The internet is a class conditioning tool. Where does this materialize?
Real currency isn’t real anymore
Cashless businesses are becoming the norm.
Pennies are dead.
Without our anchors, our windows into the digital space, do we truly exist at the same standard as those who have, or are we lost to a void?
